Marketing Meeting - Tues Sept 14th - Mazon VFW - 6:30 - pizza

Corn closed 17 cents higher today & 28 1/2 cents up for the week as traders hear reports that early corn yields are disappointing at best. Today, Allendale lowered their yield estimate to 162.3 bu/acre & Informa said they feel final yield will be about 158.5 - that compares to 165 yield used by USDA a couple weeks ago.

Soybeans ended 26 cents higher today & 9 cents up on the week as they try to keep pace with corn & wheat. Informa estimated soybean yield @ 44.1 bu/acre - just above USDA's 44. Allendale tho dropped bean yield to 43.2 . Oil World said world soybean stocks are at a surplus.
